The coronovirus pandemic gave many people the chance to read book and comics so in today's article we are gonna explore some of the best comics and graphic novels you can find.

1. Sandman.

According to many this masterpiece of Neil Gaiman is considered one of the greatest comics ever published. The story is about the Lord of Dreams and his adventures around space and time. The original Sandman series ran for 75 issues between 1989 and 1996 and spawn many spin-offs like Lucifer.

2. Watchmen.

Written by the legend Alan Moore and published in 1986 Watchmen tells us the story of a conspiracy leading many retired Superheroes to take sides in a struggle for the world's future. The plot is fast and the characters very compelling.

3. Transmetropolitan.

The most famous cyberbunk graphic novel narrates the escapades of the rogue journalist Spider Jerusalem. Written by Warren Ellis and published in 1997 by DC Comics Transmetropolitan is a story about fighting the corruption and abuse of power in a dystopian future.

4. The Boys

Another comic written by Garth Ennis in 2006. The Boys dive in a parallel universe where Superheroes exist but they are not as good as many people believe. A rogue group of human misfits try to uncover and fight the Superheroes in an epic story who will captivate the reader.

5. Preacher

Vertigo Comics published Preacher in 1995 a series created by Garth Ennis. It follows the adventures of Jesse Custer, a Preacher in Texas, who gains some mysterious powers and starts a journey to find God and get some answers. One of the characters in this comic, the Saint of Killers is one of the best antiheroes in my humble opinion.
