LitecoinPool Review

Launched in 2011, LitecoinPool is one of the oldest Litecoin mining pools running on a Pay Per Share (PPS) system. It features merged mining (Mining Litecoin alongside Dogecoin, Canada eCoin, Myriad, Viacoin, Argentum, etc.) though users are not given the merge mined coins. Instead, users receive a bonus in Litecoin, resulting in Pay Per Share rates of over 100% and no pool fees (As of now, PPS is at 105%, and it changes depending on the market and the coins merge-mined). As of writing this article, LitecoinPool has just under 10% of the global hashrate of Litecoin.

The pool allows withdrawals of as low at 0.01 Litecoins, and has no withdrawal fees on automatic payments. Mining rewards are instantly credited to the user's account so a miner does not need to wait for a block to be confirmed before rewards are sent. LitecoinPool was also the first pool to offer secure mining over TLS-encrypted Stratum connections.

I have personally mined on this pool for nearly a decade now, and have had a very positive experience. Payments have always been on time, and the system is very transparent. The website is quite plain, but is easy to navigate and also feature helpful charts. For Litecoin miners trying their luck for the first time or for battle hardened cryptocurrency miners, I highly recommend this pool.

Disclaimer:

I have no business affiliation with LitecoinPool or any other crypto/crypto-related company. I personally have been mining on LitecoinPool for over 7 years now, and have never lost funds.

Remember, investments in cryptocurrencies are like any other investment: Invest only what you can afford to lose. No investment is a guarantee.
