I just tried to jump on my Coinbase to grab my referral link because some people are wanting to start learning about crypto and I told them they can do the Coinbase earn to get a couple coins and learn a little. 

Well when I tried to log on I noticed that the site is down. What a bummer! So then I went and checked Kraken, thats down as well. Seems like some funny stuff is going on. I am not sure if it has to do with the US election craziness or if there is a big hack going on with some denial of service sprinkled on top.

Either way I saw this when I tried to log on.

This goes back to my other articles about wallets and the type you have and who maintains them. Right now there is a small dip going on for both BTC and ETH and people who have crypto on those sites are probably freaking out if they were hoping to sell. I am trying to buy a little bit so I will have to jump over on one of my other sites to buy.

So do you think the outage was in response to massive movement in the market? Or, maybe they were trying to stifle the run that BTC was having? 

Did the sites going down affect you? If so, how did it impact your willingness to continue to use those sites?
