Can you create a crypto portfolio out of nothing? BTC faucets and how they can help to discover the crypto world! (Lot's of free crypto inside)

By TheCryptoGambler | TheCryptoGambler | 25 May 2021

We have seen all time highs for Bitcoin, Ethereum and some other coins in the past weeks/months. So it is tempting to jump onn the crypto wagon. If you do have enough money to spend and to risk, you can just build yourself a crypto portfolio. But suppose that you don't want to spend any money but still want to have a crypto portfolio, is that possible?

Yes, it is. And it is easier than one can think. But don't expect to get rich overnight. Because you don't want to spent any money, you will need to spent some time to get there! But it can be done!

Most of the ways are faucets but not all of them. These methods can be an addition to a die hard crypto fan, but also can introduce crypto noobs into the cryptoworld. This cryptoworld when unknown to it can be overwhelming, so this is a win-win for both the crypto world and the crypto virgens.

I have listed some methods and did group them together in some categories. Mining, Blogging, Gaming and Gambling. Each do have to own pre and cons. Some are really time consuming, while others aren't. Let's go over the list of methods I do use.

Blogging

Publish0X

Hey you are reading this article at Publish0x, so the first step is taken. You can earn some real cyrpto money via blogging if you are a great writer, a little bit less if you aren't going to win a pulitzer price with writing like me. If you are good at writing and do have an own opinion you really are missing out if you don't have an account yet! And even you aren't good at writing but like to read opinions of others, this really is a must have!

But besides earning some crypto for writing you do get 5 votes per day. These votes can be used onto articles of your liking. Both the author and you do get a reward and it is up to you how the reward is split. You can give all rewards to the author of the article or take max 80% for yourself, which isn't nice by the way. I always do give the author of the article more than me.

Currently you do get paid in Ethereum, Ampleforth or Ifarm.

This has something extra for the crypto noobs. Setting up an own crypto wallet can be a hassle. So they did team up with Kucoin (a crypto exchange). When you do reach the threshold, you can withdraw your earning directly to an exchange and do with the earning how you like.

This is one of the easiest ways of earning some extra crypto! If you don't have a Publish0X account yet, feel free to use my ref link:

Mining

Let's start with an pretty straightforward method. Mining via a web browser. Nothing is needed beside a webbrowser. Leave a tab of cryptotabbrowser open and start mining right away. Of course the trade off here is the energy consumption. I do use this method, when we are producing more solar energy than we do consume. I do have a spare laptop at my desk and just fire it up.

Another way is to power up a laptop at work and leave it running/mining at home.

I have been doing this for a month or 3 now and because I often forget to start it up, I am not rich (yet) :)

I did earn at the moment: 1254 Satoshi. ($0.47) Told you that I am not rich yet.

You can speed up things, like buying extra mining power, but that is not what I am doing nor suggesting. But if BTC ever does reach $1M, than I do have some extra cash in my pockets!

Gambling

Betfury.io

Betfury does have 2 faucets at the moment. On one side the BTC faucet, where you claim 1.25 Satoshi each 20 minutes and on the other side a BNB faucet allowing you to claim 0.00000137 BNB each 20 minutes.
Of course this doesn't sound a lot. But you can turn this into a steady daily income. Each time when you do wager BTC or BNB at one of their games, you do receive some BFG tokens in return. From the moment you do have 10 BGF stakes, you do get a share from the daily dividend pool.

I did start 3 months ago with this experiment. And it is truly a marathon. So far, I have earned around 160 BGF, giving me a daily payout of:

I often do forget their BTC faucet. But it is easy and it is free. Also each day you can have a turn at the wheel of fortune and win more BTC up to even a Rolex!

They also do have a lottery. The more actions you perform on their website the more tickets you will get and if you do are extremely lucky you can just walk away with 0.1 BTC! How about that.

Each hour you can roll the dice and depending on the number (between 1 and 10000) you do get a reward in BTC. The minimal payout is 5 Sats, the biggest if you do roll the 10000, they do reward you with .00528486 BTC. But you will get 5 Sats per roll.

You can wager this at their Hi-Lo game (dice) of at sportsbetting. I am just stacking up the BTC faucets and at the moment I did earn 1237 Sats. Just like the cryptobrowser I do often forget this, but their daily mail does remind of it. I am trying to increase my attention to this and hope to score big time. Or just move forward penny by penny.

Gaming

rollercoin

Rollercoin is also a BTC, ETH and Doge faucet. But here it is gamified. Per game you do play, you do get more and more mining energy. Depending on the number of games you do play, the power is stored beween 1 and 7 days. Each 20 minutes a block is mined and depending on your power and your distribution of power you do get some BTC, ETH, Doce or RT (their native coin).

I did split my mining power between Doge and RT. Hoping to get enough RT to buy a miner. The cheapest miner does cost 15 RT.

This is my Rollercoin wallet at the moment:

They do have several games to offer. And it is easy to play some games while waiting somewhere.

And above all just like all of the above it is free, besides spending some time. I never have investigated a lot of time in it! Should focus a little more on this!
