The young doctor diary #3. Coronavirus hit us hard

There is little to say ... in the last month my job has become a swing. In practice, I alternate days in which I work 13 hours in a row, I stay in the hospital all day and I don't have a moment of rest, with days in which I have to stay at home and stare at a wall because you just can't go to work. Too many doctors in one ward and you risk contaminating each other. In addition to increasing the risk of being able to contaminate patients with coronavirus, if we were asymptomatic carriers.

It follows that I stayed home today. At least I can take advantage of this to work on a study we are looking forward to, regarding different types of anesthesia for some biopsy procedures. My life is often stopped, but scientific progress ... well that never stops!
