What is this project?

The World Citizens’ Assembly is an NFT project that aims to reweave, humbly, a link between citizens and politics, which must show another face, other perspectives of solidarity, democracy and responsibility.

This assembly is represented by the greatest political figures who have marked the history of nations and the world. It gathers the citizens of the world around common issues of all kinds: ecology, economy, currency, health, defense, education…

In a spirit that is both playful and modest, yet innovative and constructive, topics will be regularly submitted to the vote of the assembly (NFTs owners) in order to imagine what could have been the decisions of a Council composed of men and women with extraordinary destinies.

How would these personalities have expressed themselves if, together, they had had to pronounce themselves on issues of global interest? This is pure fiction, of course, but let us just imagine such a meeting, with its debates, its lyricism and its decisions that would certainly have surprised. Let’s allow them to express themselves and in return give the citizens of the world the desire to engage themselves.

Why this project?

The disavowal of the world’s citizens towards politics is undeniable. Their impression of powerlessness prevails. Any attentive observer notices that the gap of incomprehension is widening between the world citizen and the institutions and that distrust has settled towards our political representatives. Elected officials are often not well known and they don’t really realize what they are doing. All this is coupled with a lack of knowledge of national and international institutions.

Proposals for participatory and citizen democracy are being developed, with varying degrees of success, in order to compensate for the observed democratic deficiencies.

The malaise is palpable and the need for change is strongly felt.

What will the value of the cards depend on?

First of all, there will be only one card for each political figure.

The first ten cards will be sell at a price to be announced soon. The second set of ten cards will be sell at a higher price, and so on.

The maximum number of cards is set between 150 (more likely) and 200. Each card is made manually, from the drawing to the rendering. They are not randomly generated, which explain their limited number. A lot of time has been spent on each.

The purpose of the cards is to be able to vote at the assembly, where topics will be put to a vote. Only owners of NFTs will be able to vote.

All of this (time spent making them, limited number, price increasing with time) contributes to the value of the cards.

Where can you buy a card?

Our NFTs are available on OpenSea, on the Polygon blockchain for lower fees.

Do you have a roadmap?

Our roadmap, available on our website, is as follows:

• 2021/10/03: Official launch of the website and the twitter account (✅)
• 2021/10/10: 10 NFTs will be published on OpenSea (✅)
• 2021/10/31: The first 10 NFTs will be offered for sale
• 2021/12: At least 50 NFTs published an offered for sale
• 2022/02: All the NFts published and offered for sale (with a maximum of 150 NFTs).
• 2022: Once all the NFTs are available for sale, the Citizens’ Assembly will go online and the first topics will be voted on
• 2022: Tokenisation
