The Weekly Summary - Fitness Edition #6
The following is my latest daily workout for Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
I've been doing this work out every other day, but since last Saturday's session I was feeling soreness in my chest. So I decided to use Monday as a rest day. My elbows thanked me.
I did my stretches and warm-ups, to prepare my chest, shoulders, and triceps for my push-up (or press-up) session. And as always, I warmed my rotator cuffs. That's very important to preserve shoulder health!
Between each set, I rest for about a minute while pacing back and forth briskly.
In this session, I did 200 push-ups. The breakdown:
Push-up Warm-up Sets
3 sets x 5 reps
Push-up Working Sets
10 sets x 10 reps
3 sets x 15 reps
1 set x 20 reps
Push-up Cool Down Sets
4 sets x 5 reps

After push-ups I did 5 rounds of shadow boxing to get the heart pumping even faster.
And I completed 4 sets x 8 reps of back widows.
By the end of this work out, I walked 1.60 miles or 2.67 kms.
