The Weekly Summary - Fitness Edition #2
The following is my latest daily workout for Sunday, April 11, 2021.
I did my stretches and warm-ups, to prepare my body for all the push-ups (or press-ups).
I start my push-ups by doing a few warm-up sets of five. Between each set, I rest for about a minute. I actually have an active rest by pacing back and forth briskly. I walk after each set.
The push-ups are done in sets of 10.
In yesterday's session I did 175 push-ups. I'm excited because this work out passed the 1,000 mark for April. Here's the breakdown:
Push-up Warm-up Sets
3 sets x 5 reps
Push-up Working Sets
15 sets x 10 reps
Push-up Cool Down Sets
2 sets x 5 reps
Push-ups for April 2021
1,150
Push-ups for 2021
4,650 💪
I'm also eager that I will be breaking the 5,000 push-up mark for the year in the next couple of workouts!
Shadow Boxing
After push-ups I did 5 rounds of shadow boxing to get the heart pumping even faster.
Back Exercises
And I completed 3 sets of 8 reps of back widows.
Back widows are also known as the reverse push-up.
Walking
And by the end of this work out, I walked 1.35 miles or 2.17 kms.
