What could the CEX Publish0x are partnering with be? - Blog #16

Hi everyone, welcome back to the weekly crypto roundup. Yesterday we were all greeted with a message at the top of our screens about how in the future, Publish0x is going to be partnering with a CEX so that no one has to pay any gas fees anymore. Sounds good right? So which exchange will it be? Today I am going to break down the exchanges that could possibly be the one Publish0x will be partnering with. Hope you guys enjoy

But tell me, how can you even know which exchange it could be?

Good question. Here is how. There are 3 tipping tokens on Publish0x and we all know this. We have:

  • Ethereum (ETH) - listed on 100s of well known exchanges globally

  •  Ampleforth (AMPL) - listed on 11 well known exchanges globally

  • Harvest Finance (FARM) - listed on 5 well known exchanges globally

As you can see, we would never be able to track down which exchange it would be using Ethereum, as it is on EVERY exchange. That means we must turn to Ampleforth and Harvest Finance to find which exchanges they have in common in order to find which exchange has both and therefore all 3 tipping tokens.

Exchanges In Common With AMPL and FARM

Here is a list of Ampleforth exchanges as seen on Coingecko:

Let’s start by saying Uniswap and Sushiswap ARE NOT exchanges. This means they cannot possibly be the CEX. That leaves 11 exchanges:

  • Balancer
  • KuCoin
  • Gate.io
  • MXC
  • FTX
  • Bitfinex
  • Virgox
  • XT
  • 0x Protocol
  • Bancor
  • 1inch

Now we must compare these exchanges with the Harvest Finance exchanges, a list also seen on Coingecko:

Once again, Uniswap is not an exchange, we can strike that off the list. This leaves only 5 exchanges:

  • Gate.io
  • AEX
  • Hotbit
  • Poloniex
  • Hoo.com

Notice anything? Gate.io is the only exchange that shows up in both lists. This means this could be the CEX Publish0x is looking at.

Does Gate.io require KYC for normal trading?

No it doesn’t, only for higher forms of trading I.e. high withdraw limits. This fits with what Publish0x says. I can also confirm it has both pairs listed above:

So this is my prediction. I believe that Gate.io is the CEX that Publish0x is talking with, unless of course another CEX adds a FARM pair later on. This is just my prediction and you should not take it as gospel.

If you want to take a punt on this being the new exchange, signing up with this referral code will give you 20% commission on trades: GATE.IO

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
