Are you a crypto OG who was here at the start of DeFi?
Remember the early Uniswap days? 1inch? Curve? Sushiswap? Badger?
If you've played around with them and received airdrops in the early days of DeFi, you just might have an interesting retroactive airdrop to claim.
Meet PLUMBERS
PLUMBERS is a new Ethereum DeFi project with an OG approach to its initial distribution.
Instead of launching another points campaign and asking users to complete a bunch of social-media tasks, PLUMBERS is looking backward.
Its airdrop recognizes wallets associated with several early DeFi milestones:
- Original UNI claimers
- Original 1inch claimers
- Curve genesis liquidity providers
- Badger Hunt participants
- Early SushiSwap bonus farmers
If your wallet qualifies through multiple categories, its allocation can receive an additional multiplier, up to 1.4×.

And take a look. It has a very useful feature:
Claim to a Safe Wallet
If your OG wallet has been compromised or you want to be extra safe, PLUMBERS provides a "Claim to a Safe Wallet" option that allows an eligible wallet to authorize its claim using an EIP-712 signature.
A fresh wallet can then submit the signed claim and receive the PLUMBERS.
The eligible wallet doesn't need ETH for the transaction.
The receiving wallet pays the gas.
And then there's more!
PLUMBERS isn't only an airdrop.
Underneath the distribution is an old-school DeFi experiment involving a fixed token supply, Uniswap V2 liquidity, LP staking and emissions.
There's also a broader ecosystem being developed around the project.
The creator is active on X as @_absnt and has been adding new features since the launch. Here's a few of them:
1. Farm Factory 🔧
PLUMBERS allows anyone to create their own DeFi farming ecosystem in a single transaction.
A Factory deployment creates:
- A fixed-supply token with 1 trillion units
- A corresponding TOKEN/WETH Uniswap V2 pair
- An isolated LP farming contract
- A permanent on-chain Factory record containing the farm's terms
It's essentially a quick, permissionless way of creating a new DeFi farm.
2. Nametags 🪪
The Nametag system adds a more social layer to the project.
Instead of interacting with the ecosystem as nothing more than an anonymous wallet address, users can establish an identity within the PLUMBERS community.
A small feature, but it reveals something about the direction of the project.
The airdrop began with historical wallets.
Nametags begin turning those wallets into people and identities within a community.
3. The Pressure Gauge 📊
Then there's the Pressure Gauge.
This is essentially PLUMBERS' activity and reputation system. Instead of simply looking at how many tokens you hold, it tracks participation through Pressure Points and related activity.
Things such as holding, providing liquidity, staking and compounding can contribute to your activity, while the system also includes achievements, ranks and a community leaderboard.
The project is gradually moving from:
"You qualified for an airdrop."
to:
"What are you actually doing in the ecosystem?"
The original airdrop recognizes what your wallet did years ago.
The Pressure system starts recognizing what you do now.
Will PLUMBERS become a valuable token?
Nobody knows. But...
The OG wallet idea is worth watching
Crypto has become very good at rewarding recent activity.
Points.
Quests.
Referrals.
Campaigns.
Daily check-ins.
PLUMBERS takes a different approach.
It looks at something you did years ago and says:
We remember.
Whether the broader experiment succeeds is another matter.
It's still early. The token is highly speculative, liquidity can be thin, and DeFi farming carries both smart-contract and economic risks.
But as an experiment, it's worth keeping an eye on. Especially if you've been around Ethereum since the early DeFi days.
Because somewhere in an old wallet you haven't opened in years... you might be a Plumber. 🔧
and let's Plumb!
