Meet The Shenganiguns - A dysfuctional rock band from near-future Kenya

X13 is the founder, lead singer and composer/lyricist of The Shenganiguns. He is a recovering alcoholic and has been a guest at a psychiatric institution. Twice. He has a hypnotic stage presence. Kare is his first love. He is still in love with her.

Kare is co-founder, bass player and composer/lyricist of The Shenganiguns. She is an introvert but when she gets on stage, she comes alive. She is the glue that holds the band together. She is socially conscious and volunteers for many causes, supports orphans, participates in charity runs/walks and various protests. She is in an on-again, off-again relationship with Mosh.

Mosh plays keyboard/piano for The Shenganiguns. He is a classically trained pianist. Cool, calm and collected...until you rub him the wrong way. The anger management classes have helped (a bit). He is stylish and loves designer suits and sneakers. His favourite band is Queen. He is a lifelong learner of all things computers and is a hacktivist. He is obsessed, um, in love with Kare.

Kip is the drummer for The Shenganiguns. Ladies man. Charming. His favourite dress code is jeans and bare chest. To the people he loves, he is loyal to a fault. Certified medical doctor. He is still haunted (sometimes literally) by the death of his fiancee, a surgeon. She was a whistleblower.

Smolzz plays guitar for The Shenganiguns. He is a multi-talented musician who can play several instruments but the guitar is his first love. He was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and is yet to complete his Law degree. Peacemaker of the band.
