I'm going to write a set of 4 posts which includes the types of Blockchain, Crptocurrency, Crypto Wallet, Crypto Exchange. we should know them when coming into the crypto world for investing or using cryptocurrencies. This is the third part.

The 2 types of Crypto wallet is Hot, Cold.

Hot wallet is also called software wallet which is connected somehow to the Internet. Since it is connected to the Internet, it provides more accessible for uses trading or payments, it is also susceptible to Internet risks like hacking.   

The most common types in hot wallet: desktop, mobile and web wallets.

Cold wallet, also called hardware wallet, is not connected to the Internet. It is more secure than hot wallet since hackers can't get to the info of your wallet which stored offline.

The common types in cold wallet: paper, USB wallets.
