Year Of The Ox Beauty

Hey folks, today I bring you the 2021 1 oz Silver coin, Year of the Ox. produced in Australia by the Perth Mint. This coin is a part of the 3 part Lunar Ox series released. They released a set of 3 of these coins, 1, a 50 cent version, this 1 dollar version and a 2 dollar one. There is also a proof set out there that has this coin along with a coloured and gilded version. They look absolutely amazing but dayum they are costly. So for now I'll stick with this beauty.

The Reverse of the coin: Two Oxen, a Mummy Ox and a baby Ox, standing up with a branch coming over the top of them.
The Obverse: Queen Elizabeth II with Tiara and Coronation necklace
Year: 2021
Value: 1 Dollar
Currency: Dollar
Silver: .999
Weight: 31.1035 grams
Diameter: 40.9mm
Thickness: 3.5mm

Part of the Lunar Series III that you can check out over on Numista

This is another one of the coins that I picked up on my shopping trip last year. Cost £28.50 on the day which I feel is a nice tidy buy. I Googled it and its average cost online is around £40.00, that's before VAT 😱 This makes this coin one of my best buys so far when looking at the cost to the potential return I could make for selling now.
Spot today is sitting at £25.18 which makes this even more of a steal.

The Precious Metal Stacking Journey

Time to document the Journey that I started in March 2024. Precious metals is the goal at the end of the day. I Planned to start with silver, and if I do well move into gold.
