I Found An Interesting 10oz Silver Bar

Tonight I was chilling and decided to start looking at some silver bullion bars as the range on The Royal Mint of bullion coins hadn't changed.

I came across this hefty bad boy, a 10-oz silver Britannia bar.
This thing looks bloody huge, 90mm long and 51.92mm wide, it just seems like a hefty and large ol thing.
Another offensive weapon in the making!

When I compare it to the 10oz silver bullion coin, this bar now seems less cool. The width of the coin is fairly similar in size but I imagine would be hell to store.
Whereas the bars would be much easier to stack and store together.

Onto the design, which does actually look really good and very detailed. The figure is impressive, and it has an amazing benefit on the reverse, which is different from the coins.

It doesn't have our bloody King's ugly mug on it!
Which is a relief as I bloody hate his mug on the coins. It's enough to put me off buying any of the new bullion coins. I just really hate his portrait!

Priced at the small sum of £352.92, this thing is really expensive and has a rather large premium on the spot price of silver, which as of writing is £22.43. They do offer free postage within the UK for it though, which obviously saves you loads of money on postage costs.... Sarcasm abound on this one.
The free postage isn't worth the £100+ premium, but it's a cool-looking bar.

Time to document the Journey that I started in March 2024. Precious metals is the goal at the end of the day. I Planned to start with silver, and if I do well move into gold.
