A Trip Down Mexico Lane It Is

Evening folks, been a while but damn I have been so busy with life that my writing has had to take a back seat, unfortunately.
But tonight I bring you another new coin, the 1 Onza Mexican Libertad. This was picked up on the last spending run for new shiny coins.

I had absolutely no idea what it was when I bought it, but it looked cool and there are titties so I went for it 😅

The reverse of the coin: Winged Victory (whatever that is) on a crowned pedestal, with the mountains and Mexico City in the background. The weight is in the top left, the metal is at the top in the centre. Next the date, then the mint, and finally the fineness.
Year: 2020
Silver: .999
Weight: 31.1 grams
Diameter: 40mm
Thickness: 3mm
A non-circulating coin.

The back of the coin is the Mexican coat of arms, surrounded by the previous coat of arms of Mexico.

A really good-looking coin, and for a random buy, it has brought much joy to me and my stack.

The Precious Metal Stacking Journey

Time to document the Journey that I started in March 2024. Precious metals is the goal at the end of the day. I Planned to start with silver, and if I do well move into gold.
