Darwinia Network and Its Unique Features In The Decentralized World

As the world is changing and society becomes increasingly digital, financial services providers are set to look to offer their customers the same services to which they're accustomed, but looking at this offer from a different perspective that is more efficient, secure, and cost-effective way.

Over the past year, we have seen how Polkadot rapidly evolved from an advanced and secure tech stack to become the largest multichain ecosystem for Web3 and we have seen some of the projects on this chain upgrading their activities/features to solve major problems in traditional finance in a seamless way, one of this project is Darwinia Network.

Darwinia Network and Its Unique Features In a Decentralized World

Darwinia is known as an EVM-compatible smart contract platform, that shares the security of Polkadot. Its network provides a light client-based, programmable, universal cross-chain message network for decentralized application developers.

With the above definition, the Darwinia Network solution is divided into two categories which are:

1. Its Chain

2. Its Msgport

Darwinia Chain

Darwinia Chain provides a development environment that is fully compatible with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) which caters to six important features (Complete Set Of Web3 RPC Endpoints, Publish-Subscribe Capabilities, H160 Accounts & ECDSA Signatures, Low Gas Fee, Lightning Fast Transaction, & On-Chain Governance).

All chain transactions are managed through the use of a RING token (fee) and interaction with the smart contract still follows the use of RING as a fee. The utility of RING continues as the holder of the token can as well stake the RING and its derivative commitment token (KTON) and earn rewards. On Darwinia Chain, building a Decentralized Application is easy and testing is seamless which results in to smooth launch of Dapps.

Darwinia Msgport

Darwinia Msgport has to do with a kind of smart contract on different chains specifically for sending and receiving messages between each other, it is designed for other smart contracts cross-chain to interoperate by sending in-chain message calls to it. If you are not a developer, you may not understand but in a layman's understanding, Darwinia provides user-friendly and reliable cross-chain services and infrastructure for Decentralized Application Developers. How Do You Start Earning Passively Via Darwinia Network?

One of the features Darwinia provides for its users is staking economy and you can access this feature through a non-custodian Darwinia staking platform using Metamask Wallet or WalletConnect. This means you need Darwinia Network on your Metamask.

Metamask Darwinia Network Settings

Network name: Darwinia Network

URL: https://rpc.darwinia.network

Chain ID: 46

Currency symbol: RING

Block explorer URL: https://darwinia.subscan.io

If you confuse about how to stake or delegate, you can follow the lead here but make sure you already have a RING token in your wallet and be sure to launch (https://staking.darwinia.network)

Where to buy RING:  There are up to 9 exchanges trading RING tokens, find them here

What's New In Darwinia Network?

Darwinia Community DAO (DCDAO) is a new discovery on the network. This is a community self-organized workgroup (WG) that aims to contribute to the growth and development of the Darwinia community and it is proudly sponsored by the Darwinia Treasury and Itering. I will be writing more about this in my next article.
