What Vitalik Should’ve Done Better — Ethereum Is Long Overdue for Its Glow-Up

But no one should be paying $60 to swap a $10 token. This isn’t Ethereum. It’s extortion.
2. Stop Trying to Be “Decentralized Grandpa”
Ethereum moves at the speed of committee meetings.
Bitcoin is slow on purpose. Ethereum is slow by accident.
Vitalik wants to do everything the right way, the academic way, the “everyone-has-a-voice” way.
But sometimes? You just need to ship.
3. Tokenomics Could’ve Been Way Sexier
$ETH doesn’t feel like an “asset” — it feels like the fuel you regret buying.
Burn mechanics helped, sure, but where’s the spark?
Ethereum should feel like owning land in Manhattan, not gas at the Shell station.
4. Complexity Kills Adoption
Rollups, sharding, danksharding, proto-danksharding (yes, that’s real).
Ethereum sounds like it was named by a Dungeons & Dragons dungeon master.
Can we just make things usable for regular humans?
So Why Do We Still Root for ETH?
Because Ethereum is still the most important layer-1 after Bitcoin.
Because Vitalik does care about ethics, decentralization, and building things that last.
Because despite its flaws, no other chain has done more for the crypto space.
But damn. It’s long overdue for its glow-up.
