Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well!
Franz Kafka, an enduring icon of modern literature, crafted a philosophy that remains profoundly relevant and widely cherished even a century after his time.
Kafka was a frail boy, yet he was capable of doing things for himself, unlike other boys his age. His father, a self-made businessman, wanted his son to take over the family business, as many fathers would. However, Kafka was more interested in writing. To gain his father's appreciation, which he so desperately sought, he chose to study law and worked as a lawyer in a firm.
He was a man plagued by self-doubt, often abandoning projects midway because he thought they weren't good enough.Even on his deathbed, he instructed his friend to burn all his remaining work. Kafka died of tuberculosis at the age of 41.Although he never sought success with his writing, he also never received the appreciation from his father that he so deeply desired.
These are some of the things you can see in his museum: letters, drafts, photos, and more.
