There is No Need to Label People Based On Your Perceptions, Their Actions Will Show You What You Need to Know.
“Refrain from labeling people into a box that fits your own perceptions. People are much broader than any label you can perceive, and you are too.” This does not mean that all people are moving in a manner for which their greatest potential shines through. Some people work on a level much lower than their potential or true ability, so give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Over time a person will show you what's underneath their shell, and what label they deserve to have placed on them.
The philosophy behind the idea of not labeling people based upon your own personal perceptions, and waiting for their actions to show the truth is as follows.
The act of labeling people based on superficial or preconceived perceptions can limit your understanding of their true character and potential. Some people but not all may possess a complexity that far exceeds any simplistic label you might apply. Labeling others often stem from personal biases or limited experiences and can prevent you from appreciating the full scope of a person's abilities and attributes. Meaning you won't see them for who they truly are unless you open your mind, wider than your eyes. In stead of trying to confine someone to a specific category, it may be helpful to observe their actions and behaviors over time, as these will more accurately reveal their true nature and capabilities, or lack there of.
People are not static; they evolve and grow in ways that labels often times cannot capture. What might initially appear as a particular trait or characteristic could be just a temporary phase or a response to specific circumstances. By avoiding rigid labels, you allow space for people to demonstrate what is true about them and what is false. This approach fosters a more open-minded and compassionate perspective, where you acknowledge that everyone has the potential for growth and change. People may initially exhibit behaviors that seem unremarkable or even counterproductive, but as you witness their actions and progress, you gain a clearer understanding of their genuine potential and value.

It is important to recognize that while some individuals may operate below their potential, this does not justify labeling them as incapable or unworthy. Everyone has their own journey and challenges that may affect their performance or behavior. Offering the benefit of the doubt and allowing people to prove themselves through their actions helps to build trust and respect. Over time, consistent behavior and achievements will provide a more accurate reflection of who they truly are, far beyond the limitations of any initial label.
My philosophy encourages a dynamic or fluid approach to understanding people, focusing on their evolving actions rather than your already fixed perceptions. Using the philosophy in this manner emphasizes heavily on understanding a persons value, through exercising patience - while in observation of their true self, before forming judgments. As individuals reveal their deeper selves through their actions, you can make more informed and fair assessments of their character and potential. This doesn't mean that what a person shows you as their true character won't be favorable in your eyes, but at least you've given them the benefit of the doubt prior to strapping a label on them. This process not only enhances your relationships but also contributes to a more empathetic and inclusive environment where everyone is given a fair chance to demonstrate their worth.
Ultimately, the actions of individuals will always provide a clearer picture of their inner-self than any label ever could. By refraining from hastily categorizing people and allowing them to show who they really are through their behavior, you embrace a more nuanced and accurate understanding of their abilities and more importantly how they are connected to their inner mental workings, and or their higher-self. This approach fosters deeper connections and more meaningful interactions, creating opportunities for growth and collaboration that might otherwise be overlooked. This doesn't mean that all people are not showing their true self or at least the socially programmed version of themselves from the onset. Simply give people a bit of time and your understanding of them will become more clear.
