Many men are walking away from engaging with women for a variety of reasons—which I won’t get into in this article. But I will say this... If you aren’t a chicken-shit, you can make a woman build attraction for you right out of the gate. In a conversation with a woman named Robin, I demonstrated this by creating a real/fake/funny dating profile for myself—except I made myself old. Really, really old.

I don’t share the actual conversation between Robin and me here, but you can read it—and others—when you download or buy the physical book The Legacy Wife. But I digress...

Of course, I used a real profile picture and included some true details about myself. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have attracted Robin—or the many other women who tried to connect with me. I guess the “dating gurus” would call this my opener, but honestly, I was just having fun and looking for the next dame to mentally analyze for my research.

“Dame” because, remember—I’m 102 years old... lol.

For the guys reading this who are extremely shy—get over it. I used to be that guy: the one who wouldn’t approach a woman because of fear. Now, I don’t approach most women because in my opinion many of them aren’t worth the approach. You have to be in control—and that means more than just having confidence. You have to truly not give two shits about the outcome of a conversation with a woman.

If you care how a conversation starts, she’ll spot your nervousness immediately—and you’re likely done for. You become “the creep” almost instantly, and she won’t even remember your name afterward.

If you want to talk to a woman romantically, it means you're already attracted to her, right? That emotional energy is already repositioning itself from deep within and rising to the surface. Your hands start to sweat, and your face—the one that should be poker-faced—is flushed red. You're showing your hand before you’ve even looked at the cards.

Calm down. Cut the intensity you’re putting into her in half, and redirect part of your attention to something else in the room—or something you did earlier that day. That tells her she doesn’t have your full attention, and suddenly, you become more interesting.

When you direct a portion of your attention away from a woman, even briefly, she’ll start to wonder why she doesn’t have it. At this point, you can use a mix of funny banter and a “don’t-care” attitude to reel her in.

I might be getting a bit off track here—but I’ll reel it back in. I told you I’m not a guru, just a regular guy like most of you… lol.

I made Robin—and the other women who contacted this particular dating profile—want to know more because of the age (102) and the profile picture. The really funny part? I had no idea if my age math even added up, and it didn’t matter. If Robin had asked for clarification, I would’ve just been honest and said, “Hey, I’m dyslexic,” and cracked a couple jokes.

Again: if you move like you’ve got nothing to lose—which in reality, you don’t—you’ll get further with women than you ever dreamed.

You can make her laugh, but don’t be her clown.
You can be serious, but don’t be emotionless.
You can be a hero, but don’t be unnatural.
You can be chivalrous, but don't be the Simp.
You can be stern, but don’t be unmovable.

If you introduce a woman to an idea—like I did with the “old man” bit—you have to own it until you’re ready to let it go, not her. But don’t drag the joke out too long or she’ll tire of it, and attraction will dip. If that happens, you’ll end up trying to recover it, which is never a good idea. Just simply shift to a more natural side of yourself.

Truly, everything you do when interacting with a woman should feel more natural than not. You don’t want to have to keep up a fake persona for the rest of your life, do you? The answer is: Hell No!

So you’d better make sure it’s your real self she falls in love with. A lot of men lose that over time and stop being the man she was initially drawn to. Don’t let that be you. Your core characteristics—mental and physical—should be firmly in place and virtually immovable.
