I finally managed to speak with a clinician at my surgery, i will get the letter for work tomorrow. Also, i found out that my colleagues set up a Whatsapp group. Not, i got the app on my phone, i am just not using it. Hopefully everything will get clarified tomorrow.
Second, i just started a new training schedule, seems quite difficult, so i want to think that this will work out well. 4 days a week, for the beginning. I have more time now. And if tomorrow they will decide that i need to stay isolated at home, i will start daily guitar lessons and Spanish.
Today i did my first training, which was quite difficult at the beginning. I can only hope the next ones will challenge me too. I talked a bit with friends and family on the facebook messenger. Then just went really quick to put a full tank of petrol in the car, on some petrol station that looked quite deserted. And i stopped at our corner shop for a quick refill. We have 34 confirmed cases and 3 acquaintances who get it, one completely recovered, one dead and one in hospital. I think soon we will stay mostly inside the house. It is becoming too risky to be outside. I am lucky to get a park right behind my house, but even going in there will be soon impractical. 22141 cases with 1408 deaths in UK at the last daily report.
I hope it is going better in our part of the world. The numbers are quite tricky, doubling every 3-4-5 days. At the beginning is not much, but if you know the chess table story, you know about the 64 square reward. I estimate just a couple of months until most of the people will have it. And then, probably by next winter, the virus will mutate again, and we will start all over. If we are unlucky. Unlike the first version of SARS coronavirus, this one seems to not care too much about the heat. We will see what the future brings.
And keep in mind what somebody really good at this said: Every measure taken before will look too alarmist, every measure taken after will look inadequate.
Wish you well!
