Kraken’s Krak app has launched a U.S. Visa debit card supporting 600+ currencies and assets, with up to 2% cashback in USD or Bitcoin.

SEC Crypto Update:
The SEC has proposed “Regulation Crypto Assets,” including exemptions for token issuers to raise up to $5M over four years or $75M annually, plus a conditional safe harbor from “investment contract” classification.
The proposal now enters a 60 day public comment period and is not yet final.

Bitcoin Outperforms:
$BTC surged 2.6% above $64,000 on Monday while the S&P 500 fell 0.52%, marking Bitcoin’s best daily performance in over a month.
However, Glassnode says BTC outperformed the index on only about one third of trading days over the past three months.

Stablecoin Accounting Update:
FASB has proposed that certain fully backed stablecoins could qualify as “cash equivalents” under U.S. GAAP if reserves match circulating supply, are disclosed annually and tokens can be redeemed for dollars on demand.
The proposal is open for public comment until November 19.
