RCFA world champs what a weekend

ROAD TO WORLDS

Well it's been a long 6 months I really practiced hard every day. Doing my drill getting fit working the boxing bag. Been a extremely hard 3 months building up for the main world champs weekend. For those of you who did not read my first kickboxing post . I have been doing kick boxing for about 7 months now. Being a crystal meth addict most of my young life. I stoped the drugs and took on the hard work of becoming a kickboxer.

WORLDS FIRST FIGHT

So my first fight is in the semi contact sport boxing beginner to advanced 75-82kg .

After managing to get past the round robin stage I was in the first semifinals. My opponent a black belt fighter GJ.Muller he is also from my club so we have sparring practices alot. He is a good well rounded boxer. Round 1 of 2 .

I fire in electric jabs to the face. Moving around nicely I keep the pressure on him. He moves to the side and finds a small opening. I move fast to cover blocking all major body shots. Not allowing him to get through. I pase my self. In and out quickly and smoothly. Get the points and move away. Round one ends with the round going to me convincingly. Round 2 of 2 he comes back with purpose. Moving nicely he lands a few face shots. He breaks my defence and gets me in the stomach. I move in and Bob and weave passing his defense I start landing hook shots 3 or 4 of them . The bell goes end of round 2 . Waiting for the results the second round went to my opponent. With a tie we get a 30 sec extension.

At the start of the extension I know I am faster closing the space between us I start hammering shots in . We are exchanging shot for shot with my speed causing him discomfort. About 20 sec in I can see he is out of energy. Ramping up my attack I blast fast punches into his body.

End of the extension. Standing waiting for the results I start celebrating I know I got it. And then the results I beat the black belt. Being a white belt I felt this whole division is mine for the taking.

Final fight

Having watched my opponents fight while I wait I knew exactly what I needed to do. His name is Herman Duplessis. Having had good fights before me I could see I'm way more fitter than him. Round one I make quick advance taking him of guard. Having him working backwards I continue to put the pressure. He moves out of my shot and starts pushing aggressively. I keep my composure and moving backwards I continue to block and counter not allowing him to have any advantage.

Round 1 ends with me easily taking the rounds. Round 2 starts he tries to push in the beginning to try injure me. I keep calm and work on my counter punching. Halfway through the round he gets frustrated and lands a hard forced shot to my stomach. Feeling the hurt I intensify my punches lands hard jabs and hooks. I get a warning for excessive force to the face . As the last ten seconds approaches I let loose. Hitting him off his feet. After the ref reset the fight I continue to bombard him with body shots. The bell rings for the end. I wait for the results. But feel in my blood I won. And the results are in I and crowned world champ in my division.
