I have been following Spheroid Universe for a couple of years and test its platform often. It has lately come to my attention that there is a huge interest in the SPH token and that the platform is finally kicking off.
With the recent rise of NFTs digital art and platforms like Decentraland the interest in Spheroid Universe seems to be rising too as attention is turning to projects with unique characteristics that have a ready product and can create value inside the rising digital economy.
The concept behind Spheroid is based on a detailed map of Earth. We can zoom in to any location and find that the whole map is divided into parcels called Spaces which are tradeable. Each space is tokenized in the model of NFTs (ERC-721). You can buy Spaces using the native token of the platform SPH (ERC20) and later trade them in the Spheroid Marketplace.
These are the basics and it looks simple and when I checked the project for the first time I wasn't aware of the potential it has. After digging into this project it becomes clear that this project has unique features and tries to solve complex issues of online marketing, digital art, and becomes a platform for developers to create extended reality apps with the use of programming language created by the team. Spheroid SQL together with Spheroid XR Cloud and the Spheroid Script language is giving access to developers to create apps inside the platform (example).
There is a mobile app out for both Android and IOS and since a picture or a video clip is better than words, here is one that gives a definite example of how Spheroid can be used and attract businesses, marketers, and artists.
SPH token is trading on Uniswap and Latoken Exchange. Because of the recent interest, it has grown by 1000% in just a week. The tokenomics of the project are based on releasing new tokens only for the development of the project and marketing campaigns.
