As a studio TEACHER!
I get to see all the stars up close and personal. I would have to say I am one of the luckiest people I know. I would say I am blessed. I get to be on the set and really take all the magic in. Have you ever been watching a tv show or movie and you say to yourself I wonder what the writer meant by that or why did he do it like that? Well, I really ask that question after reading the script or hearing the actor ask for clarity. Oh, This has nothing to do with my job I'm just telling you I have the pleasure of asking a question to the one person that can really answer it.
I try my best to record a few moments from my time on set because it's history for my children to pass down to my grandchildren. I don't have many pictures of my mother but because of social media, my children will have footage of me doing one of the things that I love and that's being involved in the entertainment industry. Below is a video of my last moments on the set of Cherish the Day Season 2! I was working with a young actress by the name of Samantha Wilson she's playing a character by the name of Bree. We were able to get some fun in as well as have a few serious conversations about freedom of choice. Her 10-year-old responses were astute although, I was not convinced nor could she get me to change my mind.
Season 2 was filmed in New Orleans, Louisiana my hometown. Many people are unaware of the huge amount of movies that are created here in what we call Hollywood south. I never take it for granted that I a blessed but I am also aware of the fact that I am a blessing to work with.
