GHOSTING
When a person ignores you and will also off all communications with their friends or the person they're dating, with zero warning or notice beforehand. Yes, the is a thing. This is so annoying for a person such as myself that hates to be ignored. I would tell a person that I am not interested anymore. I have never ghosted anyone. I don't think that I have. Here’s what they do. Sighs! They will avoid you, phone calls, social media, and avoiding them in public.
Ex. I haven't seen him in months. Even though he sees me when he is passing to go to his mother’s house. I think he may be ghosting me.
This is another episode of Love Lies and Life in its early stages. Tonight’s topic is have you ever been ghosted? Have you ever ghosted someone? When events like this occur do you need closure or do you just leave it alone? My special guest tonight is Marquita Novocain Carter. she’s actually one of my parents. She’s a single mother of twins and a girl and a boy. Her son was in my second-grade class. If you know me I love my kids (students) and their parents as well.
Enough about that let’s get into tonight’s show.
Ghosting! What is ghosting you may ask? That’s a really good question. Ms. Carter is going to talk about a time that she was ghosted and I’m gonna talk about a time I’ve been ghosted. Hell! I am being ghosted right now. I see a pattern that I must break in my own life. I can’t wait to get over this guy that takes up space in my head rent-free for almost 6 months. Oh, I told you this is how I let it out. I think I should say that the guy that ghosted be during this show is not the same guy that’s ghosting me right now. LOL! That guy is not even my type what was I thinking? Anyway, Should I call him? The guy that's ghosting me? Well I did see him last week he was passing by and he stopped and Sid hello so it’s not full-blown ghosting right? Hell yeah, it’s ghosting when was the last time before that? What can’t I believe he just doesn’t want me in his life. I hate rejection and being ignored more than anything in the world.
I also have to note that Ms. Carter is younger than me and our wants and needs differ. When you listen to this show you will see just how much er differ. Maybe one day we will see eye to eye but I respect her views and opinions.
On the other hand,I am so happy that I got over the last guy and I will one day get over this guy too. It’s going to take time but someone else will come along soon that wants to be a part of my life.
