Hi guys,

E-scooter services like Lime and Bird have been eating up the city streets and side walks. You couldn't have better business opportunity right now than those services. And you can actually get paid to help move some scooters around in both services but I'll leave that for another article. Three services are cheaper than Uber or Lyft and make sense if you only need to travel a block or two. Or if you're in college, you can zoom across campus instead of walking with a heavy book bag.

Though e-scooter services are much cheaper than scooters, their prices can still add up on over a month. They are equivalent to l the cost renting a very small car for 7 minutes. As such many users have purchased their own scooters for (at most) a few hundred dollars and now use those to ride around cities and neighborhoods. Seeing this emerging trend, it might be smart for e-scooter services to start a P2p network that uses other people's scooters to function. That way a user can be attach a special service to their scooter and leave it out in a public area to be used by their chosen e-scooter partner network. And every time the scooter is "checked out" , the owner gets paid a portion of the sale.

It creates passive income for both normal individuals and the e-scooter companies. And the city gets to continue to benefit from low-cost mobility that also lowers pollution for to less car traffic on the road. It's a win-win situation
