People in the workforce must quickly start creating their own side businesses or risk completely losing every source of income that they have ever depended on. The work landscape has changed since many workers around the country started pushing the "F.I.R.E" movement. The acronym stands for something similar to "financial independence retire early ". It was created by workers who thought they were getting the short end of the stick by having to spend the majority of the prime years of their life working for someone else only to have a decent chance at retiring in a form of their body which would then less likely to even be able to move around once they had enough money to have their independence.
Now, coincidentally, owners of companies across the country just happened to begin testing out a new tech that allowed companies to create digital robots that could function as well or even better than humans in the work place. They called this technology artificial intelligence and it would be the key to the future of the companies independence of the worker as workers transitioned into implementing the F.I.R.E movement. So , the workers in the movement guy their wish. But I don't think company owners were angry at workers for wanting to have their financial freedom earlier because that just means that they wanted to be their own boss. The name of the movement might have implied a bit of animosity from the workers that started the movement. In all things, everyone should always be careful in what they wish for... because you might get it.
