A lot of baby boomers in the US are in a bind right now because they don't have a 401K, didn't save enough, didn't invest enough and just didn't start their own business.

These are the facts as I've seen it on TV, read it online and heard it with my own ears in multiple locations.

So, what's the solution ? Well, one possible solution would be to have older generation become pseudo grounds keeper to all of the properties owner by providing their service across the country . This does good things for all sides. First, the elderly receive a roof over their head and (possibly) a stipend to pay for their needs. And the private equity land lord get occupied properties that counter thievery. They could even temporarily convert the property to a nonprofit and receive funds from the government while the property is waiting to be sold or even rented. Their house rental business could then market their "good deeds" in the news to bring in free publicity .

Now, this is only one solution to the problem. I'll leave the rest up to you.
