There has never been more advice about making money online.  Open YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, or almost any website and you'll find endless videos promising passive income, secret side hustles, easy crypto profits, and "free money." Some opportunities are legitimate. Many are exaggerated. Others are outright scams. The expensive and time consuming part is figuring out which is which. 

That's why I created Earnest Earnings. Let me do the testing. My goal is simple: personally test as many legitimate earning opportunities as I reasonably can and publish the results honestly. If something works, I'll show you the numbers. If it barely earns anything, I'll say so. If it's a complete waste of time, I'll tell you that too.

I'm deliberately beginning with opportunities that require little or no money to start. No large investment. No courses. No special qualifications. Just a little free time on your hands willingness to experiment.

I'm interested in one question: can someone starting with almost nothing gradually build meaningful income over time? Why? I explain what motivates me to waste hours of my time for what may turn out to be pennies (but hopefully will be a start of a system to gain some semblance of financial freedom over time) on my Medium article here.

Not every opportunity will be crypto-related, but if it helps people earn money online, it's fair game. There are, of course, dozens of ways to turn fiat to crypto easily. 

Whenever possible, I'll publish:

• Startup cost

• Time required

• Actual earnings

• Effective hourly rate

• Risks and limitations

• Long-term potential

• Who the opportunity is suitable for

• My overall verdict

My goal isn't to convince you to sign up for anything. It's to help you decide whether something is actually worth your time. You draw your own conclusions.

This isn't a one-time article. It's an ongoing experiment to discover what genuinely works—and what doesn't—for someone starting from zero.
