So you start off full of optimism that you can change the world and solve society's problems with some simple activism campaigns, and a lot of voting. Then you have to scale back your expectations, until finally, you realize the system is useless and probably needs to end. But you keep waiting for the huge collapse that invariably never happens. Well rest assured, there's a better way: you can become an incremental collapsitarian and watch the world burn a little bit at a time, and be happy about it!
