It looks as if the downtrend for BITCOIN dominance has stalled a bit at 60%.
It is as if it were an equilibrium level and it does not seem that we are yet in the moment to say that BTC will do the same thing it did 4 years ago when its dominance decreased abruptly bottoming out at 35%, affecting the price increase of all the altcoins in an incredible way. That is what we call ALTCOIN SEASON.
However, no one knows if this time it will be the same, in fact, at that time the ICO phenomenon was fashionable and new blockchain projects kept coming out, launching ICOs here and there, trying to finance themselves from BITCOIN investors...
At the present time, the ICO phenomenon has been replaced by the DeFi phenomenon and the effect this may have on the dominance of BTC may not be as significant.
I really don't know if that long-awaited ALTCOIN season will come ... personally I think that investors in BTC are now much more mature and reluctant to exchange it for other altcoins.
Now I think about what to do with some altcoins that I bought on sale long time ago and on which I am making substantial profits:
- ENJIN: my investment is at +1381%
- RUNE: +1074%
- HEDERA HASHGRAPH: +827%
- HOLOCHAIN: + 754%
among other...
I think I am going to be cautious, I am going to sell half of these altcoins today and keep the other half to see what happens...
I am not going to make the mistake of waiting for something that still does not arrive while I have already exaggerated profits.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...
