Why I Collect 48 Dividend Checks Every Year Instead of 4

What’s goin on, Investors?

In this article, I'm revealing the exact stocks I use to generate passive dividend income every single month of the year.

I've broken down the first three months to show you which companies I invest in, their sectors, and their dividend yields. Why just three months? Because once you see the pattern, you'll understand exactly how to replicate it for the entire year.

These are my personal picks—not recommendations, but real investments from my own portfolio. While most of these stocks pay dividends quarterly, I've strategically staggered them so dividend checks arrive in my account every month. You can do the same by selecting one stock per month (or spreading several across different payment schedules like I do).

There are thousands of dividend-paying stocks out there. These happen to be mine. Let me show you how it works.

Monthly Dividend Calendar

Strategy Overview

This portfolio contains 30 high-quality dividend stocks strategically divided into three groups. Each group pays dividends in a rotating quarterly cycle—Group 1 pays in Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct, Group 2 in Feb/May/Aug/Nov, and Group 3 in Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec. The result? Dividend income landing in your account every single month.

My approach is simple: I pick 4 stocks from each group (12 total), then sit back and collect monthly payments. But I don't just set it and forget it—I occasionally rotate stocks between groups to test whether certain combinations outperform others. Spoiler alert: finding a consistently winning combination is much harder than it sounds.

How This Works

Just like with crypto, you don't need to buy whole shares—fractional investing works here too. You can dollar-cost average (DCA) into multiple stocks simultaneously, investing a set amount every payday or month to smooth out price fluctuations.

Group 1 (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct): Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, McDonald's, Walmart, Verizon, AbbVie, Chevron, and 3M.

Group 2 (Feb/May/Aug/Nov): Apple, Microsoft, JPMorgan, Bank of America, AT&T, ExxonMobil, Home Depot, UnitedHealth, Philip Morris, and Lockheed Martin.

Group 3 (Mar/Jun/Sep/Dec): Intel, Cisco, IBM, Pfizer, Merck, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, Caterpillar, Texas Instruments, and Bristol Myers Squibb.

Another Way to Monthly Payments

According to recent data, 82 individual securities pay dividends monthly, with yields reaching as high as 24.6%. This represents nearly every monthly dividend option available in the market.

Rather than tracking live prices for all 82+ stocks (which would be impractical), I've compiled my personal selections from this list, organized by category. For current pricing, simply check Yahoo Finance, Google Finance, or your brokerage app.

International Banks:

  • Itaú Unibanco (ITUB) - Brazil
  • Banco Bradesco (BBD) - Brazil
  • Grupo Aval (AVAL) - Colombia

Important Notes:

  1. High yields can be risky - Many monthly dividend stocks have yields of 10-20%+, which often indicates higher risk
  2. Check payout ratios - High payout ratios mean less margin for error
  3. Many are specialized - Mortgage REITs, BDCs, and royalty trusts have unique risk profiles
  4. Canadian stocks - Many trade OTC and may have different tax implications
  5. Always verify current dividend payment schedules, as companies can change their dividend dates. Yields shown are approximate and may vary with changes in stock prices.

Always DYOR and invest intelligently
