Let me pat myself on the back twice. We did hit a new ATH this month as predicted and we did it twice, hench the previous sentence. So, this month is starting really good for most investors and traders with the market pumping wildly and the huge inflows of cash via the new ETFs is going to sustain us beyond what has happened in the past. Yes, there will be some retracements and slight pullbacks but nothing to worry about or adjust your strategy over.
According to coinpedia.org, Bitcoin has a historical tendency to double in price within 18 days or less after surpassing an all-time high. For example, in March 2013, Bitcoin doubled in price over 10 days. Further research shows and according to a CNBC interview (watch the video), Bitcoin has doubled in price within 18 days or less three out of four times when it hits a new ATH. I currently don’t believe that will happen this Bull Cycle.
However, if it does come to pass and we do double in price from the new ATH it will have happened between the 5th and the 23rd of this month, which would put the value of one Bitcoin at $138,649.16. My prediction is that’s not going to happen this Bull Cycle and as I keep saying historical events WILL NOT REPEAT in the same manner as in the previous Bull Cycles.
Now that BTC surpassed its newest all-time high (ATH) of $69,324.58 to breach the significant $70,000 Profit Point, we have entered a phase of price discovery, and change, highlighting the new mainstream interest in Bitcoin. The newest ATH is $70,199.00 and we will continue to reach a new ATH almost every month until the Bull Cycle is over and we begin again…only differently this time. Also, be aware that some will be taking profit in this area, myself included so expect a pullback of some sort to happen when we are able to hold past 70K Profit Point for several hours. Along with any good news, there will be some bad…but it won’t last too long or have a significant impact on price.
