Welcome to Thursday Folks! It used to be said an apple a day will keep the doctor away. I wonder if that same sentiment could apply to Bitcoin? A $BTC a day keeps the bears away? We are about to find out as Nayib Bukele and Justin Sun has indicated that they will buy 1 $BTC a day. So far a large number of retail investors have incurred a loss according to a BIS study and with Bitcoin not breaking $17K, those losses could extend. 

Yesterday we saw Tim Draper triple down on a $250K Bitcoin prediction for 2023 (which I believe is reckless of him) and now we have Mark Yusko tripling down on his prediction (which makes more sense) of $100K in 2024; around the next halving. Doing the match if $BTC were to appreciate $3,500 a month consecutively for the next 24 months - it would get there.  

The FTX fallout continues as the CEO dispels SBF's erratic tweets, Bahamian liquidators reject validity of FTX’s US bankruptcy filing and cite "serious fraud and mismanagement." SBF says he regrets filing for bankruptcy and says "F*ck regulators." Aussie regulator terminates FTX Australia's license and the treasurer promises regulation next year. Temasek said they saw no red flags despite 8 months of "extensive due diligence" and are forced to write down $275MM investment in FTX.

The contagion is far and wide as Multicoin lost more than half of its Crypto fund's capital this month. They are not alone as ETHE and GBTC shares might face the same fate as FTT; Gemini seems to be struggling a bit as well. CFTC Commissioner says it's too early to know if FTX crisis was intentional and Congress wants SBF to come to DC. There is a great tweetstorm by Ram Ahluwalia about the reason this all happened. Lastly, Adam Cochran also spelled out his final thoughts - it was a CRIME!
