Happy Monday folks! There really isn't much BIG news going on so I will start by saying, tomorrow will be the last day this week I provide the brief in this format since I will be at Bitcoin 2022 in Miami for the rest of the week! (If my flight doesn't get canceled - grrr) I will try to share event updates instead of the news. It should be 4 fun filled days.
News getting the most press so far today is under acceptance and adoption. Convenience store giant On The Run (OTR) is the largest brick-and-mortar store to start accepting cryptocurrencies in Australia and fashion label Off-White will leverage an arbitrage system, provided by Berlin-based Lunu, to buoy volatile crypto prices, according to a report by Vogue Business; strong adoption around the globe continues.
In addition, taxation globally seems to be the theme as it pertains to regulation. India, Indonesia, and Australia all have implemented regulation or taxation that will have an impact on the industry.
