What are YOUR Personal Reasons for Buying Bitcoin?

By Buzzbeeg | The Crypto Cave | 19 Nov 2020

Keep those Bitcoin for rainy days

Here are my own personal reason for buying Bitcoin. This is not financial advise; these are just my own thoughts and ideas. I always stress that no one should ever buy Bitcoin or any Altcoin just because a random person on the internet suggests it. In this space everyone needs to do their own research and understand that their is no financial adviser who is going to help you. Everyone is ultimately on their own.

  • Bitcoin has the highest return on investment of any asset class of the decade. It is also the best performing asset of 2020. I realize that past performance does not guarantee future performance. However, if nothing has fundamentally changed about Bitcoin then it could repeat history.
  • It is not tied to any business or government. In these uncertain times I don’t want to completely tie my fortune to any government, or business. Assets like gold are attractive but so is Bitcoin because it provides the convenience of the internet with some of the qualities of gold.
  • It is international in scope and I can use it wherever I go. I don’t have to use travelers checks or worry about my credit card being turned off when I travel.
  • It’s highly liquid. I can sell it whenever I want or buy it whenever I want.
  • It’s blockchain is very secure and I can quickly send Bitcoin overseas to my friends and family members at a fraction of the cost of Western Union.
  • The technology is continually being improved. One day it will be easy enough for grandma to use it.

If you are interested in buying Bitcoin you can always check out OKEx. They make buying and selling Bitcoin very easy and accept Visa, Mastercard, and Bank Wire Transfer.

On a final note I want to remind everyone they live in strange times and that strange things like Bitcoin could be very successful. I think Bob Dylan’s song is very appropriate for 2020 and Bitcoin.

"The Times They Are A-Changin'" by Bob Dylan

Come gather 'round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You'll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you
Is worth savin'
Then you better start swimmin'
Or you'll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin'

Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'
For the loser now
Will be later to win
For the times they are a-changin'

Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don't stand in the doorway
Don't block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
There's a battle outside
And it is ragin'
It'll soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changin'

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'

The line it is drawn
The curse it is cast
The slow one now
Will later be fast
As the present now
Will later be past
The order is
Rapidly fadin'
And the first one now
Will later be last
For the times they are a-changin'
