Autodraw

I recently came across a website called Autodraw, which is an AI experiment by Google. With this website you draw various things and the software tries to guess what it is you’re trying to draw. Clicking on one of the guesses will replace what you’ve drawn with a pre-drawn figure.

The Idea

It’s certainly an interesting idea and another step toward computer generated art. I’ve been interested in computer generated art for a while now so it will be interesting to see how this sort of technology continues to develop. At some point I expect there will be software where you can simply describe to it what sort of art you want and it will create it for you. I’ve seen some experiments in this direction and while the software is still currently quite advanced, the results are also impressive.
