Houston’s Chance with Tampa Bay

Houston’s Chance with Tampa Bay

Tampa beat the Yankees and advanced to the ALCS. As a Houston fan I honestly want nothing more than for them to win and continue the March to the World Series. People though are already preparing themselves by discounting their season. As a baseball fan this is disgusting. These players played for the hope of a World Series and train their whole life for it.

If the Dodgers, Braves, Ray or Astros win it all it means the same. All teams partook all teams if they won would say it still counts. No one who’s team lost should take that from them.

Trying to figure out who would win in a Rays/Astros series is hard. Due to COVID this year the teams in the American League West played only American League West teams and same with the American League East. These teams never played each other and even though they have years prior due to the scandal it’s not easy to say what’s what. The league said and I agree with it being a 2017 first two months of 2018 so everything after is free game. If we take that for what it is we can look over the last two post seasons and see Houston beat Tampa last post season.

This Houston staff though is very different than years prior and same with the Rays. These teams do not easily do not match up because they didn’t play this year. The few people that were on the teams heavily favor the game in Houston favor. Since that is not the case it seems that it will be an interesting series to watch and I look forward to seeing the rest of it!
