Tonight I am packing to head to Washington, DC early tomorrow morning. While travel itself is a risk it is one I have to take so that I can schedule to move in a couple of weeks from Texas to DC. The worst part of this though is the crazy weather.
I get sick when I travel due to pressure changes what makes it worse though is tomorrow the weather in DC will be in the high 50's low 60's but come Monday it will be a high of 41 and raining :) Adding to this issue is that Tuesday should be a decent day with the highs in the 40's before Wednesday an 8-% chance of snow. Luckily I will be dodging the snow as I head home Tuesday but I will having to undergo significant pressure changes.
The likes of with I have not faced in years if ever. Since my surgery, I have avoided situations like this at all costs knowing eventually I would have to deal with them. My poor roommate is going to get a crash course on how my health is. I am lucky enough to have known him and he is very understanding of who I am and how I handle my health. Everyone, please say a quick prayer for my roommate and his dad cause it might be a little rough for them!
On the upside, though one of them gets to be fast-tracked through TSA with me since I have to wear a neck brace and will be in a wheelchair! Oh, the fun time of moving and all of that in a pandemic! I will be sure to tell yall about my trip up there and what is open or not! I cannot wait for this part of my life and to see what it holds!
