Given that the Government funding for the Department of Homeland Security has lapsed/been lapsed for a couple of weeks now it isnt surprising that cyber security is becoming an issue. Even though the House and Senate have their own coverage losing DHS is a pretty significant blow.
Only in the US does wild stuff like not funding the part of our Federal Government that address cybersecurity issues become an actual thing you have to think and worry about. The Senate doesn't seem any closer to funding DHS so this will continue to be an issue for the US government for the foreseeable future.... yayyyy me.....
