¿Mining with your cell phone at this point? The absolute truth.
I've been asked a lot if you can really make money mining with your phone right now. It sounds like the perfect plan: you leave your phone there and it keeps churning out dollars while you sleep. But let's get real before you end up with a hot brick in your hand.
Don't be fooled: your battery is not a landmine
If someone tells you your phone is going to perform calculations like a NASA computer, they're lying . Mobile phone processors, no matter how powerful, aren't designed for that
If you try to mine Bitcoin the traditional way, all you'll achieve is frying your processor and drastically reducing your battery life. By the end of the month, what you've "mined" won't even cover the electricity bill. Run for the hills if they promise you otherwise.
¿So why are some people earning anything?
What's happening now isn't real mining, but what they call "Cloud Mining" or social projects.
The famous "Tap to Earn" system: Like what happened with Notcoin or what's happening now on the TON network. You're not mining; you're contributing to a community to help the project grow. If you join early, you earn something. If you join late, you just waste your time.
Cloud mining: You press a button once a day and that's it. Their servers do the work. It's more secure, but they pay next to nothing . It's for leaving it there for months to see if the price of that coin ever goes up.
How to know if you're going to be scammed (Forewarned is forearmed...)
You don't have to be a genius to know when something smells fishy. If you see these signs, block those people immediately .
If they ask you for money to "activate" mining: It's definitely a scam. Nobody gives away money, much less asks you to pay them first.
If your phone gets hot without the app open: They're secretly using your hardware for their own benefit. Delete that junk quickly.
What I'm telling you...
¿Can you make a living from it? Yes, but think of it as a hobby that might get you a pizza or a couple of phone credits at the end of the month if you get lucky with a new project. Don't quit your job for this, and don't expect to get rich off a Samsung or an iPhone.
¿Have you tried any of these apps or have you already been scammed with one of them? Leave a comment below so that someone else doesn't fall into the same rut.
