I NEVER Required Antivirus on GNU/Linux

By Debesh Choudhury | TechFuture | 28 Oct 2023

Do you need an antivirus software for your computers?

Anti-virus programs are generally used to scan and remove viruses and malware programs from computers.

  • There are plenty of antivirus software vendors around the globe.

No antivirus programs can guarantee to detect all virus and malware signatures.

That is natural because new viruses and malware are being created every day.

I require NO anti-virus programs.

I never required any antivirus to get rid of virus and malware problems.

Do you know why?

Because I have been using Debian GNU/Linux OS.

Video Source.

  • Debian GMU/Linux is a UNIX-like OS that is open-source and freely available for personal use.

Stability and security are at the core of all UNIX-like OS.
