Considering an upgrade? See the rumored iPhone 17 Pro Max leaks. New camera and faster chips, but design? Is it worth holding out for?

The only cool thing is the 50w MagSafe. I hardly use a cable at all anymore. MagSafe everything. It would be nice to not have to wait 2 hours to charge my phone if I forget to. The aluminum being replaced is confusing, but I'm sure Apple will explain why in September.

I think they want to increase the margins, especially since they might have to take the blow of additional tariff costs. The shift to aluminum should hopefully translate to significantly lighter Pro models.

Is the iPhone 17 Pro Max Worth the Wait?

We will have the rectangle discoloration on the back of the iPhone. Why did they design that extended bump? It looks like it doesn’t do anything but extend the sensors out and create dead space in the middle? Nowadays, Apple is so low that the logo position change itself is called out as a huge deal everywhere.

I love how moving the Apple logo is listed as a feature. Vapor chamber cooling is long overdue. Very happy to see that on the list. That dual video recording will be handy for vlogers. I hope that the battery is better than the one I have right now with my iPhone 15 pro max. It is a mess! However, it is still working great. I will skip until the 18th pro release and get the new ultra watch instead.
