Can Bitcoin really climb to $125K in 2025? Let's take a look.
A strange bull cycle this time around in 2025. Nobody seems to have the exact answer to be honest. Since April, Bitcoin is actually up 36% from $79,000 to about $108,000. Ethereum is up 61% in that same period of time since April, from just under 1,600 to about 2600. What's going on exactly? Big caps are growing. Everything else is kind of shrinking. My full expectation is that this is going to continue.
Bitcoin's pumping. Enjoy it. It doesn't happen every day. You know, we went through a lot of long consolidation periods, but new all-time highs are here. The Solana (SOL) chart is looking good. But it looks like it's lagging behind other coins, which are expected. BTC and ETH will go first and SOL will go next. As of right now, if you buy SOL you are still early in the pump. BIG TIME.
When ETH breaks about $2,800, historically, this has been a major inflection point for Ethereum. And that $2,800 break has often resulted in a pretty quick repricing of ETH up to $4,000. Not every time exactly, but approximately, it means a very, very important level for ETH. Let's see if it can continue to catalyze momentum here. That's the tricky part. Ethereum will always be suffocated by Bitcoin. I want to be wrong, but so far, that's what's happening.

Can BTC Hit $125K?
My personal opinion is we're on the cusp of a major Bitcoin breakout to the upside. As long as Donald Trump doesn't screw us over some kind of tweet, we're going to see prices potentially shoot from their current levels to maybe 120, even $125,000. That's my current bet. Anyway, I think we'll probably see a move like this within the next month or so.
But keep in mind too, we're only 10 or 11% away from $120,000 Bitcoin. It's not such a big goal to reach right now. Q4 in particular tends to be pretty good for Bitcoin. I would expect to be looking at something like that this year as well.
