Every author I have come across here on PublishOx has stressed this one important aspect of cryptocurrencies;RESEARCH.In my first ever article on PublishOx I shared some tips on how to carry out a proper research on cryptocurrencies. Today I am going to rate my 8 cryptos I have done research on so far.Note that this list consists only of the coins I have done research on. 

My 8 Coins:

Since I have just recently developed this research process;I have not researched many of the coins in the market and here is my very short list of coins I have done research on so far:

• Polkadot(DOT)
• Solana(SOL)
• Shiba Inu(SHIB)
• Cosmos Atom(ATOM)
• Dogecoin(DOGE)
• Chainlink(LINK)
• Cardano(ADA)
• Ripple(XRP)

Bitcoin and Etherium will not be included in this list because they undoubtedly sit comfortably at the top.

8.Dogecoin

Dogecoin is a digital currency that is promoted as the "fun and friendly internet currency ". Dogecoin has quite an interesting story as it was just created as a joke in 2013;but that joke backfired in a good way as it gained traction and became the world's first ever memecoin.

DOGE gets an overall score of 6.31/10

7.Shiba Inu

Ranking Shiba Inu above Doge is very controversial and one is welcome to argue otherwise;but yes I did give it an edge(not necessarily saying it is going to perform better than Doge).Shiba Inu is a very ambitious memecoin which aims to further promote decentralization and to give control to the society.Shiba Inu has serious developments which makes it a great investment. Some people refer to it as "Dogecoin killer" because of its rivalry with Dogecoin.

SHIB gets an overall score of 6.67/10

6.Cosmos Atom

"The Internet of blockchains" native token takes the sixth spot on my list.Cosmos aims to make it simple for developers to create blockchains by allowing them to transact with each other.Great Idea!

ATOM gets an overall score of 6.85/10

5.Polkadot

Polkadot's purpose has many similarities with that of Cosmos as they both look to facilitate connectivity between blockchains.Polkadot's main purpose is to connect blockchains and allow data and value to be transferred from one blockchain to another;while completely breaking the barriers of incompatibility between blockchains.

DOT gets an overall score of 7/10

4.Cardano

Cardano's main purpose is to allow developers to create tokens;decentralized applications;and other use cases for a scalable blockchain network.

ADA gets an overall score of 7.45/10

3. Ripple's XRP

Ripple aims to facilitate the transfer of money fron one party to another securely using blockchain technology. XRP is used as a medium of exchange to  bridge the gap between currenciesand networks.

XRP gets an overall score of 7.5/10

2.Chainlink

Chainlink aims to facilitate the transfer of tamper-proof data from off-chain sources to on-chain smart contracts.

LINK gets an overall score of 7.5/10

This score is the same as that of XRP;but my tiebreaker is the fact that Ripple is still at war with the S.E.C.

1.SOLANA!!

The Etherium killer gets the first place.Solana has the same purpose as Etherium(hence the term "Etherium killer ").Its purpose is to use the Proof of Stake mechanism to provide smart contract functionality and host decentralized applications. 

SOL gets an overall score of 7.85/10

Conclusion

Well;those were my ratings for the 8 cryptos I have looked into.If anyone feels like I have rated other coins unfairly or there are coins that do not deserve to be on my list;please let me know so that I can learn more.
