So how did I start out with Rollercoin?
I'd like to let everyone know that Rollercoin works really well on mobile. They have done a great job of ensuring that all of the games load and run well on mobile. I personally use an iPhone so I cant attest to Android but I am sure that it works well there too.
The first days of Rollercoin
After the first couple of days I'd gotten to the following:
275.809 TH/S power
BTC 0.0000003806
RLT 0.109634
Doge 0.119800
Eth 0.00000776
Tether 0
I had not figured out at that stage that you could split your power in different ways nor had I realised how important RLT will be. Why is RLT important - well as I have found out and as I understand now, RLT is the in-game currency and the best miners are only available with RLT. You can buy miners with BTC satoshi but the efficiency of them is, shall we say, less than desirable.
For the cheapest Satoshi miner it cost 4696 BTC satoshi for 1,160 GHS of power. One game of CoinFlip (at level 4) give you 912 GHS - so one game gets you a week (assuming you have maxed your computer) about the same power as a 4696 satoshi miner. Thats not good.
Compared to that, the cheapest RLT miner, Scarabey cost 16RLT but gives you 8000GHS of power - approximately 8 games worth of power. While this isnt great its a LOT better than the satoshi miner.
The math and that can be done to work out how long it takes to mine the RLT vs the Satoshi but take it from me, DONT BUY MINERS WITH SATOSHI. It really is not worth it.
I note that the main thing BTC Satoshi is useful for is purchasing RACKS which is required to have miners so do bear that in mind.
My strategy for RollerCoin:
So what did I decide to do after those first few days?
My plan was - play games, play more games, rinse and repeat..........
As mentioned I had not understood power-splitting so I was earning a mix of all the currencies but my plan was to use Satoshi to buy racks, convert the other currencies as and when to RLT to eventually buy miners so I could earn most of my currency via mining rather than gaming.
My aim was to eventually be earning around USD$1 per day without games - a long term goal but something to aim for.
I hope you've found the above interesting, my next post will look at a week in with Rollercoin and where I'd gotten to by then.
Feel free to comment and ask any questions and I'll try to answer them too!
Have fun and enjoy earning crypto and if you decide to get into Rollercoin I'd really like it if you used my referral link but don't feel any pressure to do so.
