This Telegram Bot Saved Me From Going Insane

By RafiOnChain | Tales From the Chain | 23 Feb 2026

Hey, RafiOnChain here. Quick one today, but genuinely useful, so stay with me.

So if you're anything like me, you basically live on Telegram. I'm not even exaggerating. Between crypto alpha groups, project announcements, trading discussions, news channels, and DeFi communities, I probably spend more time on Telegram than any other app, including my actual phone. It's just how crypto works in 2026. Everything important happens there first.

But here's what was driving me absolutely insane.

Telegram's search is garbage. Like genuinely terrible. You can search inside your own chats fine, but the second you're trying to find a new group, track down a channel someone mentioned, or locate a specific discussion from three weeks ago in a community you half remember joining, you're basically on your own. I'd end up Googling "best Solana DeFi Telegram groups" like some kind of caveman, clicking random links, hoping I don't end up in a scam clone channel that looks exactly like the real one.

Happened to me more than once. Not proud of it.

Then someone in one of my communities dropped a link to OKSearch, and I've been using it every day since.

It's a Telegram bot. You open it like a regular chat. Type whatever you're looking for—a project name, a topic, a keyword, whatever—and it searches across all of Telegram instantly. Groups, channels, news, movies, actual chat messages, and bots. Everything. In seconds. Without leaving the app.

The thing that got me first was the verified links. Little ✅ next to results that are confirmed legit. In a space where scam channels impersonating real projects are everywhere, that one small thing has probably saved me from clicking into at least a dozen sketchy clones. Small features genuinely matter.

I also use it constantly when researching projects. Instead of hunting around hoping Google surfaces the right Telegram group, I just search it directly and get results ranked by actual activity. Takes four seconds. It used to take me ten minutes of clicking around and second-guessing myself.

It even works with emojis, which sounds ridiculous, but half the crypto channels on Telegram have emojis in their names, so actually, yeah, it matters.

Anyway. Free to use, no setup—just open it and start searching.

Genuinely one of those tools where once you start using it, you can't believe you were navigating Telegram without it. That's really all I wanted to say.

What tools are you using to manage Telegram? Because I feel like most people are just suffering through bad search, and nobody talks about it. Drop below. 🚀
