DIY Water Filter

Do-It-Yourself Simple, Yet effective water filter...


Hello,

in this post we will learn how to make your own water filter. Ready? Okay, Let's begin...

You will need:

knife
empty tea bag or beer hops steeper
activated carbon
two water bottles
and a spoon

 

Step 1:

Cut both water bottles in half
and discard one of the bottom sides

Step 2:

add the activated charcoal to your mesh/tea bag and tie it closed

Step 3:

Take both spout ends and fit one in the other along with the activated charcoal bag in between the two and if desired, you can add cotton balls in the same area that the charcoal bag is in for filtering efficiency.

Step 4: Use the remaining bottom half of the cut water bottle to as a cap.
