Diana: Hi everyone, my name is Diana, and I’m the marketing lead of Symbiosis finance. And I’m really happy to see you here. And today we will be talking with Kata. She is from X World Games. So it's a pleasure for me to meet you. So please tell us a little bit about yourself and your project, where you work.
Kata: It’s nice to meet everyone as well. Thank you for having me. My name is Kata. I’m the CMO here at X World Games. X World Games, I can introduce the project is a blockchain gaming company and game-fi project that is currently built on the BNB chain. We currently have two games live right now, our dream card version one and version two. They provide our users with a cross-game experience where you can use your dream card NFTs in both games. So, that's just a tiny bit about our project, but I can definitely go a bit deeper.
Diana: So, could you please tell us how the X World Games were invented?
Kata: Yeah, of course. So our start came before we even entered the gaming space. We began in 2017. Our developers developed a super popular Japanese action mobile game called bell battle Masui, which generated an active user base of 1 million users. So they've been developing and have been a part of the development of many mini-games and have a rich experience in game production in the mobile game industry. So our CEO, Fernando, and our developer team, have a decade of investment experience in market trends, especially in crypto. So, he developed the idea of merging all the compelling elements of games, blockchain, DeFi, and Japanese anime NFTs and all of that together to create this blockchain gaming ecosystem. From there in 2019, X World Games began creating blockchain games. And like I said, our first Dream Card version one game had its Genesis sale, for the NFT hero cards, Dream Card version one is a trading card game, where users can battle with their NFT decks.
All in all the history of X World Games has always been towards our game-fi projects. However, we've had a lot of crypto technology that we've introduced into our ecosystem. We've built our own NFT marketplace for X world game-specific assets, which we're gonna be further developing and creating for other projects to be introduced or partnerships or more of our games.
Also, we've created and developed our own DeFi staking pools, which we call them X pools. Essentially there are multiple trading pairs who can do, but we also have an NFT staking system as well. Lastly, we did create our own X wallet a while back. It's a BSC-friendly wallet and users can sign up using their phone or email address. So it's super secure, on the cloud, a non-custodial approach and it's all decentralized. So we find the X World being integrated into both of our games, an easier way for users to navigate through our platform, use our marketplace stake, and make it all more of a seamless integration. But we have so much in store for our community.
Diana: The next question is, can you share with us how far you have come based on your roadmap?
Kata: Of course. So our roadmap, if you see it in our git book, is starting in 2019. It had the simple task of finishing the white paper. But our founders had a few years of private development creating the company, building the foundation before going public, since then, now we're in Q2 of this 2022 year, and we've come a long way. Like I mentioned, it's our first anniversary for our dream card version one. That's the first game that launched. And before that, we developed NFT characters, we have the Genesis sale. A lot of our foundation building with our platform has happened in the past two years. And we delivered our promised games and we're still building on them. So we're excited to continue to bring the community more products, more games, and the roadmap is not completed. So we're always adding things. We've got a new video game coming out this year. We're calling it version three, the name is still pending and then we are also working in the social-fi space now, bringing in an entertainment group, called dream idols. We are going to be launching dream idols, which is a Japanese K-pop-style idol entertainment group. And they'll be hosting some VR concerts and building their community this year as well. So, we're always expanding and we're always adding to that roadmap.
Diana: Could you please tell us more about XWG coin, like for what purpose it was invented and how do you use it in your game?
Kata: Of course. So XWG is the native token to the X World Games ecosystem. So it's our primary earning system. So essentially we have moved to now a new play-to-earn estate model, where we want to ensure that our players are playing a platform in order to earn XWG tokens. So just to give you some background, previously our games were a simple single token system where you would play the video game and earn XWG. However, now we ensure that when you're staking on our platform to earn XWG you need to earn lucid, which is a BEP 1155 asset, that we call lucid, and that's what you earn in game, and it's become our new in game primary reward assets. So, our system is always going to be built on XWG. All of our new games will have XWG incorporated in as well.
Diana: I really want to ask, I really like your dream card avatar collection. How did you come up with that?
Kata: Of course, I have to give a huge hand to our art team and our developers for being heavily influenced by Japanese anime art, because I, myself too, I'm a huge fan of anime. So they do really get inspired by Manga and Japanese anime. And I think the best part about each character is that they are really recognisable. So I'm very happy our characters are so distinguishable. And even if there's so many of them.
Diana: So how do you think our mutual users might benefit, like in your opinion?
Kata: So I know DeFi is a huge part of our ecosystem as well. So I think our exit polls might be something of interest because we've got a lot of staking options. We've got our regular, you know, token to token staking pairings, like USDC to XWG, and our XWG boost pool. We're trying to expand our platform to have so many more games to, kind of cater to everyone at all gaming levels as well as crypto levels too, we wanna make the entry as easy as possible. So a lot of our NFT cards aren't very expensive. There are lots of options for, I think everyone at every level, and our NFT-based staking pools are something that are very cool as well. So based on the Dream Card NFTs that you have and the pool requirements, you can stake them to earn XWG. So if your community has any questions, we can always come to ours and ask, we have a ton of moderators to help with walking through the process.
Our company X World Games is committed to bringing products and more ways to earn. And we're always aiming to be a leader in the play-to-earn gaming industry by trying to innovate and fix existing problems that the game-fi industry is facing. So we're constantly developing and creating new crypto gaming economic models, and we're striving to build, like I said, an ecosystem for all levels. So despite market sentiments, we are still building and we're laying down the foundation to be in the space for the long haul. So we're invested in Web3 technology and crypto, crypto ecosystem as a whole. So we're always building and developing regardless of market conditions. So yeah, we're excited to continue to keep growing.
Community Question: So what is the main strategy that you think will boost your project? A success for a long term in high fluctuation market? Like right now the market is very dumb. So I want to ask, how will you convince a customer like me that I can buy your token?
Kata: Like I mentioned for the long haul, we are always looking to build a stronger foundation and build our gaming platform to house more games and more projects within different sort of crypto industries. So we are developing our new social-fi mechanism with our dream idols VR group that we're bringing in. So we're hoping to build more exposure in the entertainment industry. In the social-fi industry, we are still working on developing our games and building out our gaming ecosystem. So despite market sentiment and how the market is right now, we're not looking for a short-term game. We're looking to be here for years to come. So right now we're currently just building our foundation, building our ecosystem up. So that way when, you know, the goal, keep recession aside and the market starts to pick up, I think all projects will benefit from it, but we're making sure that we have everything in place when that happens.
Community Question: My question is I would like to know your long-term goal. Let's see, 10 years from now.
Kata: Ten years from now? That is a great question. With XWG, we kind of want to become a one-stop shop for crypto onboarding as well as in the game-fi fields. So I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with steam. Steam is a large platform that houses a lot of different games. So one of our goals was to be kind of like a steam-like platform where we would be, working with and partnering with independent gaming studios, locally, bringing on their games and giving them the crypto framework. So our long-term goal is to become that go-to crypto game platform, and kind of house as many different games and play-to-earn systems that are, that we've become I guess, the OpenSea of how OpenSea is like to NFT marketplaces right now. So our ten-year goal is to kind of be the one-stop shop for everything gaming, and crypto-related. Of course, there are a lot of other companies probably with a similar vision and goal, but we're very committed to it. And I do think with our two existing games and all the projects we have currently this year, we're moving very quick. So I almost hope that it's five years and not 10 years.
Community Question: So what is your strategy about sustainability, and in your project in the near future?
Kata: I do think that X World Games brings a different aspect to play-to-earn gaming. I know there are a lot of other play-to-earn games in the space. However, we have two versions of our game, the Dream Card version one, and version two series. And we're one of the first to have a multi-cross-chain game experience. So your dream card NFTs can be used in our version one and then our version two as well. So I think these little innovations and differences that put us aside from other projects are the reason we're going to build a sustainable ecosystem and a future because we're never wanting to be the same as everyone else. We're always looking for ways to develop the mechanisms on like our play-to-earn stake model that we just launched. You can kind of read more about that on our medium, as well as BSC news we put out. They put in our article about us as well. But we're always looking to create more intricate and engaging mechanisms for our users to enjoy. So I don't think we're in the same, we're in the same field as every other play game. But we're really looking to change the game and continue to build products that are very, very different. Just like our new VR games that we're, we're looking to bring as well. Those are gonna have a crypto earning aspect too, so we're very excited to keep building and keep developing those.
Community Question: who will be the focus for your marketing the Android players or the PC gamers, and then will be there for the future you will make a partnership with a triple A games.
Kata: Sounds good. So for our large marketing outlook, right now, we are focusing on the future of our two new games that are coming out. So we have version three, which I can kind of sneak preview. It's another card-based mobile-style game. And then we have the dream idols, which is an entertainment social group. So we'll be putting most of our marketing front onto these new projects and, and their launches. But to go back to your other question on where to focus on Android or PC; we, our first dream card version one game is available to play on PC and Android. And our second one currently is just on Android devices, but we are in development into bringing that onto PC. One of our other longstanding goals is to get on iOS as well. It's a bit more difficult, but we are always constantly wanting to make a platform for every device, every level of user in what they have, and just making it fully inclusive. So it is a work in progress, but we are almost there.
